Everyone expected a transit hike. But, 25% is painful along with all the other increases on everything from property taxes to insurance increases. New Jersey business owners and restaurants will suffer as the commuters will need this additional money for traveling to work, rather than enjoying what New Jersey has to offer. It is punishment for not driving and helping the environment by keeping cars off the road. I am choking. Every expense has gone up, except my salary. Where do the deficits keep coming from? More and more people are using trains, there should be more money, not less.
