(VIDEO) Chris Christie calls William Brown, Iraq war veteran, an 'idiot': Gov. Tony Soprano strikes again

NJ Governor and professional YouTube screamer, Chris Christie, is renowned for his shout fests and reaching a bluto-like level of rage at town halls. In fact, it’s become so hackneyed and cliche that it’s no wonder Hollywood doesn’t have a remake in the works.

It’s widely known that the gargantuan governor hosts these rancorous town halls in rich, white and Republican-leaning areas, thus limiting the possibility of a legitimate questioner challenging his Jerseylicous greatness with an legitimate question. So it’s always interesting to see the what happens when some brave resident of New Jersey stares down the beast and raises an actual question regarding some of the Governor’s policies.

William Brown -- a Rutgers-Camden law student and former Navy SEAL--might as well have smashed the Ten Commandments when he raised his opposition to the governor's plan to merge his school with Rowan University. Brown quixotically and earnestly asked the governor during a town hall meeting in Burlington County to consider how the merger would affect students as well as veteran students in particular before executing his plan.

Without even so much as addressing any the concerns of Brown, Christie sharply responded by saying that his plan would happen because it would provide “bigger and better opportunities.” This is where things turned pretty ugly, Joisey style.

Brown repeatedly attempted to state his opposition behind it, including citing South Jersey’s dislike of it. Naturally, this made Governor Soprano quite upset and he ordered Brown be escorted out.

"If you decide what you want to do is put on a show today, let me tell you something, I can go back and forth with you as much as you want. And let me tell you something, after you graduate from law school, you conduct yourself like that in a court room, your rear end’s gonna get thrown in jail, idiot.", shouted a blustery Christie.

Then, upon Brown’s exit, Christie said, "You know, I tried to be patient with the guy. Every time I tried to answer, he started yelling over me again. Damn, man, I’m governor, could you just shut up for a second?"

Christie being patient is like Rush Limbaugh being understanding: it’s non-existent. Once again, the governor has shown himself to be a severely unstable bully who’s more befitting of a pro wrestling telecast then a Governor of the most powerful state in the union.

Brown, a mere student with more class in his pinky than the Governor in his entire body, apparently told the Philadelphia Inquirier after the encounter that he worried that the merger would hamper educational opportunities that now exist for veterans and other nontraditional students like himself.

He then said the response by Christie and the police was "inappropriate."

"I think he's a bully sometimes," Brown said. "I was disappointed the governor couldn't have a debate."

Christie can make an excellent debater, assuming you agree with everything he says and don’t dare to offer your own opinion.

I don't care who this jerk is, he was defiantly acting like an idiot. The fact that he is an ex-seal doesn't give him the right to act like a moron. Just like a hairy-looking-feminine-under-achieving journalist like you, has any right--to act like an idiot and speak about our governor with such disdain.

I know, to your disappointment, Christie veto the gay marriage bill; Nonetheless, you should not use this forum to vent your angst.

This is what I hate about the media: The only clips that I can find ONLY SHOW THE CONFRONTATION. Where is the rest of the exchange? Example from video: "Rutgers is going to merge with Rowan, and here's why" [CUT]. What!?!?

Who on earth decides to cut a video at this point? It's like someone coming up to you and saying, "Your life is going to change today, and here's why:" [CUT]. Reminds me of the end of 'The Soprano's'. But hey, this IS New Jersey.

Does anybody have a better video?

Not one news organization is displaying the full version of the incident...and it's banned on You Tube. How can anyone offer an informed opinion? This is biased reporting at best, reckless and shoddy at it's worst. I guess integrity and honesty in reporting the news went out when Obama came in.

Not for nothing but when you listen to the WHOLE exchange and not just edited clips. I think Mr. Brown come off as more of a jerk than Christie and that's hard to do. He never gives Christie a chance to talk. He just keep spouting. He wanted to get kicked out and he did. He accomplished nothing....
