The Powerball drawing of Saturday October 29 will mark the fourth time the jackpot has gone above $200 million so far in 2011. Every time that happened, the jackpot had a winner in its next drawing.
There was no Powerball jackpot winner for the 12th consecutive time on Wednesday, so Saturday’s top prize will now be an estimated $203 million, and $123 million for the lump sum. According to the Washington Post, nine tickets matched the first five numbers without the Powerball to win $200,000, one coming from New Jersey.
