The third share of last month’s $656 million Mega Millions jackpot has been claimed, but there’s still a big money jackpot up for grabs for a lucky New Jersey player.

No one won the jackpot in the Powerball drawing of Wednesday, April 18, so the prize has soared all the way to $152 million for the drawing on Saturday night. The cash option payout stands at an estimated $94.4 million.

According to the Powerball website, the winning numbers for the April 18 drawing were 20, 22, 39, 46, and 49, and the Powerball was 29.

Delawareonline.com reported that three tickets matched the first five numbers without having the Powerball, none of them coming from New Jersey. Each of those tickets are worth $1 million.

Meanwhile, Merle Butler, 65, a retired computer systems designer and his wife Pat, 62, a computer programmer, claimed the remaining share of the massive Mega Millions drawing on Thursday.

Lottery Post reported that the couple received $110.6 million as a net payout after taking the lump sum option of their $218.6 million share. Their lump sum payout was $158 million before 25% in federal taxes and 5% in state were withheld.

Merle Butler says managing his money is a full-time job for him right now.

Despite the fact that I’m incredibly envious of Butler, I’d say he’s right. Some fairly local people aren’t being as careful with their money these days. Philly.com reports that a Mega Millions ticket worth $250,000 was bought in Bucks County, Pennsylvania for the drawing of April 29, 2011, and is days away from expiring if it is not claimed soon.

And a Quinto ticket worth $50,000 from the game of May 21, 2011 is about a month away from expiration.
