The 13th consecutive Powerball drawing without a winner has brought the jackpot of Wednesday, November 2 all the way up to an estimated $245 million, with a cash option value of $146.2 million.
Twelve tickets were able to match the first five numbers without the Powerball on Saturday, according to Lottery Post. One of them came from New Jersey.

The International Business Times reports that Powerball has been above $250 million just five times in its 33-year history. The jackpot for Wednesday will represent a new high for 2011.
Powerball.com reported that two welders from Indiana won $221.7 million in the April 6 jackpot drawing. The store that sold the winner got 1% of the winning ticket, capped at $100,000.
The last time the Powerball prize was worth more than $240 million came when one winning ticket from Ohio won $261.6 million in the June 2 jackpot drawing.
According to huliq.com twelve jackpots have been above $300 million in lottery history. Eight workers from Nebraska split $365 million in annuity winnings in 2006 to mark the highest annuity payout in United States history.
