Lady Gaga has been taking driving lessons and the ever-bizarre singer did not exactly pick a lower scale model car in her efforts to obtain her first driver’s license.
The 26-year-old entertainer grew up in New York City and had a variety of public transit choices. According to Starpulse.com, she recently bought herself a new Audi R8 GT, one of only 333 that have been produced.
The Audi goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, according to Digital Journal, and is priced between $196,800 and $210,300. And it goes up to 200 mph for a top speed.
It's not her first time buying a flashy car.
“The only big things I've purchased are my dad's heart valve and a Rolls-Royce for my parents, for their anniversary," Gaga said, according to the International Business Times. "And that was only because my dad had a Lady Gaga license plate on our old car. It was making me crazy because he was followed everywhere, so I bought him a new car."
Gaga posted on Twitter, hopefully not while driving, about meeting up with a photographer during a driving lesson.
"Maybe while I'm learning to drive you don't need to sneak up on me and stick your GIANT camera IN A MOVING VEHICLE," she wrote.
Lady Gaga’s 'Born This Way Ball' tour begins on April 27 in Seoul, South Korea. She is not expected to be doing any of the driving between tour dates.
