You gotta love Cher! She’s still kicking at 65 and from her tweets she looks like she’s having a blast. She’s back in the studio after more than a decade working on an album, which Timbaland is producing. Here’s a blurry picture of her in the studio. She’s wearing a neon green sweater and she looks great although a little tired at the microphone.

She’s got headphones on here and you can see her figure is amazing.

She tweets, “Just got home from studio! Finished Timbaland’s song!! & amp; cleaned up most tracks! Few to go! Talked about remixes, and amp; Video. LOVE 1st song!”

Looks like her “Burlesque” co-star Christina Aquilera is on the CD. To a fan that asked, “Is this mystery gurl on ur new album Christina?” Cher replied, “UMMM!”

She also tweets that Pink is “beyond great” and has also written her some new songs.

Cher is a regular Twitter addict — she makes Paris Jackson look lazy — and we counted at least 30 tweets today. She tweets on politics, reproductive rights, and her hair. She responds to those fans whose questions interest her. To someone who asked if that was her real hair in the studio shot above, she replied that it was. Her hair looks very long and thick. She says she only wore wigs on stage to protect her hair.

She also tweets blasting the Republicans and those who are against pro-choice.

To someone who asked what she thought about the GOP’s R&R ticket, especially about women’s reproductive rights, she wrote, “They suck!”

Other tweets include, “I don’t like injustice, not caring for young, old, veterans, Sick (w/no Health care) ppl being cheated out of right 2 vote & amp; I Hate The T-Party.”

To what she thinks of Romney picking Ryan Paul as his VP, she wrote, “Have you noticed you’ve never seen Ryan & Satan at the same time?”

Maybe she was feeling nostalgic when she tweeted a photo of the Cher we’ve come to know and love.

Someone else asked, as a child what did she want to be when she grew up?: She replied, “CHER!”

She also posts a picture of her bike,

She’ll be around forever! Everyone loves Cher because she’s a survivor. In a 2010 interview she gave to Vanity Fair, she explains her longevity:

“I feel like a bumper car. If I hit a wall, I’m backing up and going in another direction. And I’ve hit plenty of...walls in my career. But I’m not stopping. I think maybe that’s my best quality: I just don’t stop.”

Children can be conned out of inheritance after multiple marriages

BY CAROL ABAYA NEWJERSEYNEWSROOM.COM THE SANDWICH GENERATION Multiple marriages and blended families can mean children get cheated out of money and assets their parent(s) earned and had before the second or third marriage. At the 2012 senior citizens’ law day conference, Lawrence A. Friedman, Bridgewater elder law attorney, said elders need to protect their children of prior marriages from being disinherited. "Even if your spouse’s current will provides for your children, your spouse may change it after you pass away,” he said. In addition to protecting one's child, an appropriate will can minimize N.J. estate taxes, which kick in if assets are over $675,000. At the conference, Cathyanne Pisciotta from North Brunswick discussed guardianship which could be necessary if various legal documents are not signed. Pisciotta said that if a person does not have a durable power of attorney (for financial affairs) and a living will (for medical decisions), anyone else can seek guardianship of that person. An expensive court proceeding is mandatory. And she said, “If one person seeks guardianship, someone else can challenge the appointment. Another relative may seek to be appointed guardian because he/she wants the money and power.”
