‘Die Hard 5’ to be end for our Bruce Willis

New Jersey native Bruce Willis has decided that one day in Russia in January 2012 will be A Good Day to Die Hard.

In 1988 the first “Die Hard” movie was released, and Bruce Willis was appearing with Cybill Shepherd on the series “Moonlighting.” According to OK Magazine, the 56-year old Willis has agreed to film “Die Hard 5: A Good Day to Die Hard.”

RadarOnline reports that the new film will involve Willis’ character John McClane and his estranged son in Russia. According to NME.com, his son has been arrested, and accused of being involved in the escape from prison of a rogue Russian leader. But things are not as they appear, and after McClane arrives, the world is threatened once again.

The part of John McClane Jr. has not been cast at this point. Some reports say it may be Justin Long, who appeared as Matt Farrell in “Live Free or Die Hard” in 2007.

The Christian Science Monitor suggests that a son is being brought in for McClane so Willis can leave the franchise, and “pass the torch” to a younger actor.

Willis, who grew up in Penns Grove, was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in Newark this past June. “A Good Day to Die Hard” begins filming in January, and is scheduled to be released on February 14, 2013.
