THE CELEBRITY MAGNET
NewJerseyNewsroom.com's Celebrity Magnet Tom Murro and Hoboken’s bad boy chef Chris Nirschel, have stirred up quite the bromance over the past few weeks as they continue their New York City outings. This time they made an appearance Monday night at the screening for the new film, “L!fe Happens”, at the SVA Theater on West 23rd street.
This 2011 comedy centers around two best friends Kim (Krysten Ritter) and Deena (Kate Bosworth). The pair fight to maintain normalcy in their lives after Kim gets pregnant and has a baby. The film also stars Rachel Bilson, Justin Kirk, Jason Biggs, and Kristen Johnson, who were not able to make the party.
Murro and Nirschel flashed their pearly whites on the red carpet with guests for the screening which included “Breaking Bad” actress Krysten Ritter, Toms River, N.J. native and “Hurt Locker” actor Brian Geraghty, DJ Sky Nellor, Designer Stacy Bendet, Project Runway’s Althea Harper, actress Fallon Goodson, and the film’s producer Lauren Bratman. The females in the audience were decked out in flirty cocktail dresses as the men rocked business casual attire.
Murro and Nirschel learned that staying in one spot for too long was not as entertaining as party hopping. The dynamic duo finished taking the last few photos for the screening and headed over to a swank private room adjacent to the rooftop in the Gramercy Park Hotel Private Roof Club. According to the hotel’s Web site, “this Gramercy Terrace combines all the charm of London's private gentlemen's clubs and the Bohemian bustle of a Viennese coffee house.
The juiciest detail Murro could share from the first part of the night was when Ritter pulled Geraghty in for a quick make-out session – French style! “It seemed random, probably booze induced, despite the fact she's like a foot taller than Brian, witnessed by 20 plus people,” said Murro. “Unfortunately it was over before I could get my camera out. The Getty and Guest of a Guest photogs were asked to turn their cameras off about 15 minutes before this happened. Are they known to be a couple?” We’ll find out.
This Web site did NOT falsely advertise. Murro described the room as “b-e-a-utiful.” The men sipped their Amaretto Sours in style as they made their way into the second round of photos. Just as the buddies had met each other by networking, the two were able to exchange numbers with everyone in the crowd. Life happens… and so do fun parties!
