The lineup of celebrities promises to be quite diverse when ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” kicks off its 14th season next month, ABC announced.
Among the stars set to don their dancing shoes are TV actors Melissa Gilbert (best known for her role as Laura Ingalls on “Little House on the Prairie”) and Jaleel White (Steve Urkel on “Family Matters”), “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd and Jack Wagner of “Melrose Place” fame.
Singers Gladys Knight, Gavin DeGraw and opera star Katherine Jenkins are also in the lineup. Rounding out the contestants are tennis great Martina Navratilova, Disney Channel star Rashon Fegan of “Shake it up”, telenovela actor William Levy, TV’s “Extra” host Maria Menounos and NFL wide receiver Donald Driver of the Green Bay Packers.
The 12 contestants vie for the mirrorball trophy grand prize when the show returns on March 19 at 8 p.m.
Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet will return for Season 14.
