It’s all about second chances for this season’s Bachelorette, Emily Maynard.

You may remember the 26-year-old, hospital event planner and Morgantown, W.V. native from the 15th season of “The Bachelor.” Brad Womack asked Maynard to marry him during the finale, but the relationship later ended.

Maynard has suggested that she was not herself on that season.

"This time around, if a guy falls in love with me, I want it to be the true Emily that all my friends know,” said Maynard to Zap2it.com. “I don't want it to be the shy, nervous, awkward Emily that a lot of people have gotten to know. I'm a single mom trying to find a guy."

According to ABC.com, Maynard has said that finding a suitable husband as a single mom has been difficult. Her 6-year-old daughter Josephine Riddick ‘Ricki’ Hendrick is named after her late fiancée Ricky Hendrick, a NASCAR driver, who died tragically in a plane crash in October 2004.

Little Ricki is likely to play a significant role in helping pick her stepfather. And her mother is grateful to the show’s producers for including her daughter in the process.

"All the producers and everybody at 'The Bachelorette' have been amazing in accommodating Ricki's schedule and mine," reflects Maynard, who was engaged to Hendrick at the time of his death. "I feel like they're putting my daughter and me ahead of making a TV show. That's their No. 1 priority, but they understand what my No. 1 priority is, too."

1.) One guy flies in on a helicopter, and it’s NOT Bentley.

2.) One guy likes pink…. a lot.

3.) One guy rides in on a skateboard.

4.) One gives Emily a glass slipper.
