Casey Anthony wants redemption

Casey Anthony began her psychological treatment a week ago, and sources say, "She hopes she will someday redeem herself and live a productive life."

Good luck with that. Meanwhile back in Florida, according to People, Judge Belvin Perry heard arguments on Wednesday as to whether to release a videotape made from a waiting room at the jail in 2008 of Anthony’s reaction to the discovery of the remains of her daughter.

According to the Palm Beach Post, an Orange County Corrections officer said Anthony began breathing rapidly, her hands became sweaty and red blotches showed up on her neck. The video has no volume.

Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez argued that Anthony, who had requested a sedative, was being evaluated by medical staff while she was watching the video. He said the tape should not be released because of medical privacy laws.

CNN reports that an attorney for Orlando television station WKMG, which is trying to unseal the video, argued that the regulations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act apply to medical data but not treatment, saying the tape should be part of public record.
