One-time White House intern Monica Lewinsky may believe that revenge is a dish best served to a cold fish.
Right in time for the political season, Lewinsky, now 39, is shopping a tell-all book that will reveal intimate details of her relationship with former president Bill Clinton, according to Christian Post. She has reportedly heard offers of as much as $12 million from publishers.
Friends of Lewinsky say she is seeking revenge on the former president with her book. Clinton is coming off a successful speech at the Democratic National Convention.
Mail Online reports that the book includes Lewinsky’s love letters to Clinton- some so intimate they were never sent. Clinton reportedly said his sex life with wife Hillary was non-existent, and referred to her as a “cold fish.” And the book is said to tell how former president Clinton enjoyed three-way sex, orgies and using sex toys.
But the Clinton scandal is not the only affair to be discussed. Lewinsky will also discuss ending her pregnancy and subsquent abortion, resulting from an affair with a Pentagon employee called “Thomas."
Lewinsky was not able to tell intimate details of her relationship with Clinton when she released her earlier book, “Monica’s Story,” in 1998, due to an immunity deal for her testimony against Clinton for a grand jury, according to Radar Online. That deal expired in 2001.
According to tabloid The National Enquirer, in 1998, Lewinsky told a grand jury that she had nine sexual encounters with Clinton in the Oval Office between November 1995 and March 1997.
Since 1998, Lewinsky has attained her master’s degree, spent time as a news correspondent and launched an unsuccessful line of handbags, but has not held steady employment. “No one will hire her and she can’t get a job because of Clinton,” a friend said to the New York Post. “She needs to make money somehow.”
