Produced by Playwrights Horizons with Women’s Project Theater and La Jolla Playhouse (where the drama premiered), “Milk Like Sugar” presents an intelligent, sympathetic study in the reasons why certain urban teenagers willfully drive themselves into a dead-end existence. It’s too bad that the youngsters who might benefit from seeing this show rarely enter a theater.
“Milk Like Sugar” continues through Nov. 20 at Playwrights Horizons, 416 W. 42nd St., New York. Call (212) 279-4200 or visit www.ticketcentral.com.
