Well, the Mets finally lost. Once again, I'll have to wait until next season for a team to go 162-0. On the other hand, this weekend's weather is going to be really nice!
Forecast Discussion:
A series of disturbances will rotate through the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas today and tomorrow with widely scattered showers. Although the showers will be brief in nature, they will be capable of a heavy downpour from time to time. Otherwise, variable cloud cover can be expected with winds from the west at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will be slightly below normal with lows in the mid 30's to lower 40's and highs in the lower 50's to lower 60's for highs through the period. Today will be the coolest day with most locations in the lower to mid 50's for highs.
High pressure will be in complete control tomorrow night on through Saturday with tranquil and warm conditions expected. A warm front will follow on Sunday with morning showers followed by scattered clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will moderate to above normal levels with lows in the mid 40's to mid 50's and highs in the upper 60's to upper 70's for highs.
A weak cold front will move through on Monday followed by Canadian high pressure on Tuesday providing clearing skies. Temperatures will fall back to near normal levels with lows in the mid 40's to lower 50's and highs in the mid to upper 60's.
