In 2010, a guy named Steve Jobs knocked the 7-inch screen tablets, saying that Apple’s extensive user testing found that 7 inches was too small for users.

Suppliers have reportedly expressed doubt that Amazon can fill an internal shipment goal of 4 million by the end of 2011.

I don't understand why they didn't include it with 3G to begin with. The price is good but it is also under speced in comparison with Apple's IPad. Only 8GB of internal storage although the Cloud Storage could be a plus but here again, it has to be Amazon content so nothing else can be stored here? If it was really going to compete with Apple, why not 16GB like the basic Ipad and why not a camera and microphone. It seems to me if you are not into that kind of tech savy stuff then the Fire should be fine for you. USB port I do see as being a plus.
