Brian Killion charged with sexually assaulting boy on camping trip at state park

Authorities have charged an Absecon man with sexually assaulting a boy during a camping trip last month.

Brian Killion, 37, faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest followed an invstigation by State Police, the Burlington County prosecutor's office and city police.

State Police said the boy's mother reported the attack after her Killion took two boys, both under 13 years of age, camping in Bass River State Park. They charge he assaulted one child in a tent in view of the other.

Authorities searched Killion's home and seized electronic equipment and computer storage media. While Absecon police are still reviewing the material, State Police said a preliminary view revealed images of child pornography.

Killian is being held in Burlington County jail in lieu of $250,000 cash bail. Authorities ask anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact State Police Detective Anthony Mason at (609) 296-3132.
