N.J. Catholics have a video-sharing site of their own

You won't see amateur music videos, frolicking kittens or rampaging deer on dottube.org.

But you will see parodies of Apple's iPod commercials featuring a dancing priest, videos of several homilies delivered at St. Mary Parish in Burlington, and a slide show of a pro-life Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Red Bank.

Dottube , a video-sharing service much like YouTube, was launched by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton to post video and audio produced by the diocese's Office of Radio and Television, the Asbury Park Press reports.

The site also allows parishes, schools and church members in the diocese to post their videos.

There are more than 800,000 Catholics in the diocese, which covers Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties.
