how will teachers in subjects not measured by standardized tests be evaluated or will they be excluded from merit raises staying in a perennial limbo salary? all of this nonsense literally does not make sense. how will they be able to justify evaluations done by people, in each district, who might have agendas. i can see litigation looming in the future. tons and tons of law suits by teachers denied merit pay. just in time for chris christie to enter private practice and represent all the teachers in law suits. create the situation then take full advantage of it. while those teachers are involved in litigation with their district, their jobs can not be filled. dumbing down of the middle class, for profit. who would want to go into teaching when all the dust settles. who would want to dedicate themselves to all this abuse.
