Nurses are an equal, if not superior choice, to administer anesthesia

This is why CRNAs are being replaced by Anesthesia Assistants. They are overpaid physician extenders who incorrectly believe they are part of the solution when they are really self-indulgent technicians that are trying to practice medicine without a license.

The fact of the matter,is that, Aneshtsiologists Assitants are by far better educated and trained than CRNA's.
As someone who went to nursing before medical school, there is/was nothing in nursing that taught me anything about anesthesia.

So, if the ASA, had the "b---s" to stand up and stop training SRNA's, then paying theirdues to the AANA; things would inprove. Also, ASA really need to support the AAs, they say they do, but really don't.
