Ron Paul

I watched the debate last night, and that was also my reaction: the rest of the candidates pandering as typical politicians do, while Ron Paul stood up for the principles of liberty, and against continued militarism and corporatism. He has my vote.

Excuse me. I am a 40+ supporter of Ron Paul and single. But I still care about the direction this country is heading in and where it will be when I am slobering in a nursing home somewhere. Maybe it's because I have lived through the Clinton, Bush and now Obama years and can see that Republican or Democrat....their economic and foreign policies are NO DIFFERENT. They might talk a good line or two, but look at what each administration has done. IT'S NO DIFFERENT. The wealthiest in this country continue to get wealthier under a Republican or Democrat and the middle class continues to get squeezed under both regimes.
Ron Paul is the only true candidate that represents a change from the status quo. And he has the track record to prove it. He's a true statesman, but American's seem to prefer the rhetoric of both sides, to a man that has voted his conscious and his principles for over 30 years. American's deserve their politicians they keep voting into office.

That is the best refutation of Ron Paul critics I have heard to date.

Of course the republican neocon establishment (John Bonehead types) will probably end up running Newt or somebody else who's percentage in polls barely registers like they did McCain
