The recent Rutgers University suicide has set media hounds to the chase and cast a pall over the collective morale of the NJ university's pupil body. The Associated Press accounts that Molly Wei's lawyers are inveighing hard for their client's lack of guilt within the matter. Wei and Dharun Ravi are alleged to have pushed a classmate over the edge by broadcasting his personal homosexual encounter to the Internet. The Rutgers student subsequently committed suicide. Molly Wei and Dharun Ravi, both 18 years old, are facing charges of intrusion of privacy for filming their classmate without consent. I can't help but wonder if Wei had to take out a personal loan to afford her legal fees.
