Alex, a senior public relations major at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, has dabbled in journalism since he was 15 years old. He now is 22. Davis considers journalism a job and a hobby — he breathes it and lives it. He has won numerous awards, including two first-place honors from the American Scholastic Press Association and a scholarship from The Press Club of Western Pennsylvania. While he is a Pennsylvanian, he has vacationed in Wildwood, N.J., for upwards of 15 years. He plans to work in Wildwood when he graduates from Pitt-Bradford in April 2011.
