Brad spent 10 years at The Star-Ledger, first as a sportswriter, then as a news enterprise reporter. His work has been recognized by the Associated Press Sports Editors, the National Headliner Awards, the National Association of Black Journalists and others. Most recently, he won the New Jersey Press Association's top award for enterprise reporting for a four-part series on the 40th Anniversary of the Newark Riots. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dartmouth College, he has also worked at The Washington Post and The Boston Globe. He is now a freelance writer awaiting the publication of his first novel, a murder mystery set in Newark, which is due out from St. Martin's Press in December.
