Chris is a graduate of Rutgers University and has been writing about football and other sports for nearly a decade. He began writing as a youngster with websites centered professional and college football before enrolling at Rutgers. While a Scarlet Knight, Harring gained experience working in all aspects of student media, specifically as a feature columnist for the Rutgers football team in the Daily Targum and as a broadcaster for WRSU, Rutgers' student radio station.
Harring was Sports Director of WRSU in 2008, while also being featured as an analyst with the RU-TV, Rutgers' own television network. He was recognized with awards for both broadcasting and science-related writing during his undergraduate career, and should be able to provide a varied skill-set to Newjerseynewsroom.com.
