It seems like many super moons ago when Christie was milking his Bromance with President Obama at the Jersey Shore. As someone who personally attended the convergence of the two wildly divergent political titans at May's rain-soaked re-opening of Asbury Park's Boardwalk, both of whom make as much sense as a pair as Snookie and Richard Dawkins, you would think it was 2009 and President Obama was actually stumping for Christie instead of then Gov. Jon Corzine. Well, much like the relationship between Bill and Hillary, it was one of convenience and now it is dead as a Kardashian marriage.

Here are three reasons why Gov Christie attacked Obama:

1. Getting back Republicans in his own state to back him in a potential 2016 run

2. Ensuring that he will have the support of the rabid, mouth-foaming teabaggers in the now far-right Republican presidential primary

3. Wooing back the deep-pocketed Romney supporters who still blame him for helping Obama win reelection.
