Elizabeth is a journalist with more than 25 years of experience writing for newspapers and magazines in Chicago, Indiana and New Jersey. She is a former metro reporter for the Chicago Tribune and feature writer for the Star-Ledger where she wrote long, narrative profiles and covered new media and the presidential election. She teaches at William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J. where is an associate professor of journalism. She graduated with an M.A. from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and was awarded fellowships to the American Press Institute and the Indiana University Teaching Fellows Workshop.
