SPECIAL TO NEWJERSEYNEWSROOM.COM

I write to you all today to seek your support for a veteran who is in dire need of a helping hand.

Dave Walther is a veteran who has worked at the New Jersey Department of Military and Veteran Affairs for over 25 years assisting other veterans with their needs. He is currently the Veteran Service Officer Supervisor, and is beloved by all those who know him. Unfortunately, Dave has recently received the news that he has developed Leukemia and is need of a bone marrow transplant.

Dave's wife Myra is a long time employee of the Jackson School District. Her colleagues at the Jackson School District are organizing a donor drive in Dave's honor. Please read the flyer attached HERE and let's hope his life and maybe others are saved through this effort.

I and the rest of the GI Go Fund thank you for supporting Dave and his family during this time. Together, we will help him get through this and return stronger than ever.
