An award-winning freelance journalist, editor and author Jeanette Friedman has written under various pseudonyms, among them Danielle Siers, Aliza Danielson, Jane Fried and others. For 14 years, 1990-2004, as executive editor of Lifestyles, a magazine for the power elite, she profiled Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Steven Spielberg, Carl Sagan, Stephen J. Gould, Sumner Redstone, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and Robin Williams, among hundreds of other celebrities, movers and shakers. Ms. Friedman also edits and publishes books, nursing some of them from handwritten manuscript to the printed page, including her own, titled "Why Should I Care? Lessons from the Holocaust" published in 2009.
