Melissa has worked as a staff reporter at weekly papers for Greater Media Newspapers and North Jersey Media Group. She has won several New Jersey Press Association awards for her coverage in Bloomfield and Glen Ridge. After leaving print news, Melissa worked briefly as a Web Producer for News 12 New Jersey's My Town website. She currently freelances as an Associate Producer for News 12 New Jersey. Melissa is a 2004 graduate of Rutgers University's School of Communication.
