Miriam has worked as a journalist and freelance writer for many years, and her reviews have appeared in the Trenton Times, the New York Times, the Forward, and the Jewish Standard. She has won the American Jewish Press Association's Rockower Award for her work twice, as well as several NJ Society of Professional Journalists awards for her essays and reviews. At one time a children's book editor, she is the author of stories and articles for children, as well as the children's novel, The Saturday Secret.
