“Thankfully I called shotgun, since it was too close for comfort in the backseat. I will emphasize the word ‘comfort' as something that was missing back there,” said Murro. “Anyway, we enjoyed Maleek’s giant container of Animal Crackers as an appetizer while listening to some very interesting African music on our way to Nirschel’s Caffé Napoli on Mulberry St. in Little Italy.”
Nirschel hit the kitchen and brought out Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmagiana, and some tasty sangria for the group to eat family style. Talk about having a great connection!
After the late-night munchies, Murro and Kim G left the group to head back to Jersey. It seems Murro the Celbrity Magnet doesn’t only attract the rich and the famous, but also the authorities. Murro got pulled over for an unlit headlight. When asked if he had anything to drink, he responded “no.” Seconds later the officer asked him to step out of the car. The officer informed him that he smelled alcohol in the car; thankfully it was only from a drink someone spilled on Murro's shirt a few hours before.
“Rule number one, play like a champion. Rule number two, don’t drive home late missing a headlight,” said Murro.
