Is Beyonce about to be one of the Single Ladies she sings about? Jay Z liked it, put a ring on it, but then he allegedly got too close to designer, Rachel Roy, and Beyonce’s sister was not happy about it.

After the Solange/Jay Z elevator altercation took place, many people took to Roy’s twitter account to see what she had to say.

What would have looked like a normal tweet any other day, now became the center of attention post-elevator fight.

Roy started a tweet with, “The beach is better.” This is a reference to a song with that title off of Jay Z’s last album, Magna Carta Holy Grail.

A source told hollywoodlife.com, “Rachel Roy came up to [Solange] in a confrontational way earlier in the night. They’ve had a long-standing feud.”

“Beyonce also confronted Rachel and said, ‘don’t talk to my sister like that,’ after Rachel confronted Solange,” the source added.

This ended with the now notorious elevator fight at The Standard hotel after a Met Gala after-party on May 5.
