There are people who would say she’d have to take one of those feet out of her mouth first.
Facebook Exclusive: I just got the official 'Ask' from “Dancing With The Stars!”
'Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as two-year-old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet!'
This special report comes from former Delaware Republican senatorial candidate but not a witch Christine O’Donnell, a New Jersey graduate of Moorestown High School, who is considering an invitation to participate in “Dancing With the Stars”.
According to the Daily Mail, O'Donnell has said her initial reaction was to turn down organizers of the show, but she was now having second thoughts.
She added: 'The Facebook comments about Dancing w The Stars list great pros and cons. Thank you for your input. Still undecided.'
The Daily Caller says it’s unclear if the conservative, who lost to Democrat Chris Coons in the November 2010 midterm elections, will become a contestant on the show. The Tea Party member implied in a Facebook status update that writing a book takes priority over “Dancing With the Stars”.
Political figures are nothing new to “Dancing With The Stars”. In the last series of the hit ABC show, former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol competed in the competition with dance partner Mark Ballas.
She eventually finished third.
According to the New York Daily News, a network executive said that "Christine is not a bad idea at all. After Kate Gosselin and Cloris Leachman, O'Donnell would fit right in.”
"She certainly would be so controversial that the amount of press attention and buzz the show would get would be huge. Plus, you know they would make her dance in a witch's hat with a broomstick."
O'Donnell is currently working on a book about her experience running for a Delaware Senate candidacy during the 2010 election cycle.
ABC News reports a program representative said Tuesday it has no comment on casting speculation, adding a new cast will be announced next week.
