Paula has been a reporter for the last decade, with most of that time spent at the Star Ledger. There, she covered news and feature stories in suburban New Jersey and authored a weekly community news column She spent much of the last two years covering environmental and planning issues through painstaking coverage of the controversial New Jersey Highlands Council. She also worked as a videographer for the Ledger, shooting and editing short video documentaries. She is a graduate of Syracuse University's masters program in newspaper journalism, where she was the recipient of the Newhouse Fellowship for Minority Journalists.
