Most of us are familiar with the 48-year-old majority owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, who got engaged to supermodel Yvette Prieto, 32, on Christmas Eve. He would be NBA legend Michael Jordan. But who is the woman Jordan has chosen as his second wife?

According to Fox News Latino, Prieto works with companies Beat the Lbs. and Aqua Management, and has modeled for designers such as Alexander Wang. She has been seeing Jordan since 2008, and moved in with him in Florida in 2009. Also, back in 2002, Prieto filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Prieto previously had a romantic relationship with Julio Iglesias Jr., brother of Enrique and son of singer Julio Iglesias before meeting Jordan, according to the International Business Times. This year she and Jordan have been seen at Bobcats games, and in September, Prieto was with Jordan when he opened Michael Jordan's Steak House in Chicago.

Mail Online reports that Jordan’s marriage to his first wife Juanita lasted 17 years before they divorced in 2006. The Jordans have two sons, Jeffrey, 23, and Marcus, 12, and an 18-year-old daughter Jasmine. The reported $168 million divorce settlement for Juanita had been the biggest celebrity settlement at the time. It is not known whether a pre-nuptial agreement will be signed in Jordan's marriage to Prieto.

Jordan averaged 30.1 points during his NBA career and was MVP five times. He was a 10-time NBA's scoring champion, and appeared in 14 All-Star games. The release of his retro Air Jordan XI Concord sneakers by Nike just before Christmas sparked violence in a number of retailers across the U.S.
