Investigators are seeking the public’s help with identifying the body of a woman found January 15 along the Delaware River shoreline in West Deptford NJ.
A helicopter pilot flying near the Wheelabrator solid waste disposal property spotted the remains and notified police. The cause and time of death could not be determined.
The unidentified white female is believed to be between 30 and 60 years old. She was between 5 feet five inches and five feet seven inches in height and weighed 160 to 180 pounds. She had salt-and-pepper hair that appeared to be dyed brown. She had no scars or tattoos.
The following is a description of her clothing: black brand-name “Seventy-Seven” hooded, fur-lined jacket, size XL; gray brand-name ENYCE” hooded sweatshirt; blue brand-name “Destiny” denim jacket; blue brand-name “Cellucap” tyvek shirt, similar to hospital attire; blue brand-name “Liz Claiborne” cotton pants, size 14W; New Balance 690 female sneakers, size 9; brown socks with rubber grips, similar to hospital attire.
