Botox in 8 year olds?

I am an ophthalmologist and have seen a few infections after Botox. Not pretty. Permanent scarring. Generally safe but not totally benign procedure. In an 8 year old there is absolutely no indication for such injections and any risk is too much. Plus this is a drug (specifically a neuro-toxin) and not available to people on the street to use (like this idiot mother). If she is an "aesthetician" she must use only under medical supervision as she is NOT a doctor and in my view it would be malpractice for any physician to authorize this use. Plus her kid is a fatso (like mama) and would never win a pageant anyway.
