SWIFT PUNISHMENT We must make an impact that this behavior under any circumstances is unacceptable on every level. We need to change the laws and make the punishment truly fir the crime. If she thought she was capable of hurting him she should have surrendered him to authorities or a shelter. Secondly half of the problem in the US with people surrendering or leaving animals stray is also irresponsible. These people should be kept in a database and never allowed to have an animal again. This is why there should be no animals sold in stores or bred to be sold at all. We are putting perfectly wonderful animals down, euthanizing, gas chambering, heartsticking on a daily basis to make room for others and the cyle continues , the influx outrageous and WHO PAYS THE PRICE THE ANIMALS, NOT THE PEOPLE, IT IS OUTRAGEOUS AND IT HAS TO STOP. People let the animals down not the animals letting the people down. PEOPLE MUST BE HELD TO A HIGHER STANDARD, THE LAWS FOR CRUELTY TO ANIMALS NEEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO TRULY PROTECT THEM, Currently It is a joke. WHEN THE SPCA AND THE ASPCA don't truly protect the animals from daily abuse and neglectful situation with all the loopholes IT DOESNT HELP THE ANIMALS AT ALL. WHEN WILL WE LEARN. GAS CHAMBERS take 20-45 minutes to kill an animal Have we not learned in the later 30's and 40's when human being we put into a gas chamber? Now we allow in States Gas Chambers and Heartsticks and many practice this with no sedation, are we back woods? Is it easier Not to see and be ignorant?
