It seems that the person who left the poisoned meat along the trails must have had a sick sadistic streak. No sane--or humane--person would distribute poison in such a manner. Now 5 pet dogs are dead and their owners (including a little boy)are grieving. There are other ways to kill coyotes (Havahart traps and guns, for instance). Let me ask you this, Mr. or Ms. Poisoner: Do you have any pets? Would you want their lives ended in such a horrific way because some skell decided to take "justice" in his or her own hands? If you have children, would you want them traumatized by the murder of their pet in such a cold ruthless maner? If your identity is found out, I would keep any pets you might have indoors. Some other idiot looking for "justice" might do them terminal harm. A Buddhist would feel compassion for you, I suppose. I do not.
