I remember when Prop 13 was passed in the mid 70's by the California voters...all the liberals could talk about is what would be cut. I have an idea...how about some of these teachers taking a salary cut to protect their fellow teachers. The best statement is "Watch Obesity take over because of gym teachers being let go". Since when is it the responsibility of the schools manage your children's diets? I have an idea...do like I did...shut off cable TV, get rid of the video games. Put up a basketball hoop over the garage door and shoot some hoops with your kids...or take them to the park and play with them. Blaming the school because your kids are fat is a typical liberal argument...it's everybody's fault except for me. Take responsibility for your kids. If they're overweight then put them on a diet. If you don't like what your schools are doing...then sacrifice and home school them.
