unnecessary

I understand a young girl lost her life and I know how its feels to lose someone close to you. My lifelong friend was just shot to death by his step father over something stupid. I am 19 so this law doesn't apply to me. I do have a younger sister and brother though. This has already been causing problems for people who added the sticker today. I will not let my siblings or any of my other younger cousins friends etc wear this sticker. I would rather pay the fine for them then have them be a target If this girl was so smart and was an honor student she should have common sense to know getting in that car was wrong and on top of that not wearing a seatbelt was even more dumb. I understand her mother is miserable over her daughters death but there is no reason to drag others into your misery. Just thinking about the endless possibilities of things that could happen including rape, murder, carjacking, robbery etc. makes me not want to sleep at night. My question is would a red sticker have saved Kyleigh? Parents will buy these stickers for their children but they can easily pull over and remove the sticker once they leave home. I'm not saying this is right but its bound to happen. I understand the idea behind this but their has to be a better way to solve this issue so screw this law and the government because the money from the decals will probably just end up in their pockets.
