Jimmy Kimmel commented last night that this news might make Rick Santorum re-think his position on birth control. But according to some reports, a member of MTV’s Jersey Shore will soon be falling down and drooling, but it won’t be Snooki this time.

Reports are saying that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is pregnant.

The New York Post reports that Snooki has already lined up a deal to officially announce her pregnancy on the cover of US magazine after shopping the story around. the Post says she is about three months along with her boyfriend of about a year, Jionni LaValle.

According to Radar Online, Snooki has only revealed the news to her closest friends and some family.

Snooki denied the rumors of her pregnancy when they first began in early February. "When I first heard it this morning, I thought everyone is thinking I'm fat or something," she said, according to ontheredcarpet.com. "Like, I'm not pregnant, so am I fat now?"

The 4-foot-9 Snooki lost 20 pounds in 2011 through working out and taking a weight-loss supplement.

According to the Los Angeles Times, MTV network is concerned about the future of a "Jersey Shore" spinoff starring Snooki and Jenni "JWoww" Farley that is currently in production. A baby would tend to conflict with the intricate plotlines which are drawn up for each Jersey Shore episode, which generally involve vomiting and law enforcement officials.

The new show is filming in Jersey City. The series’ scripts are being reworked to allow for Snooki’s pregnancy. Photos show her carrying large bags to hide her young development.
