George and Cindy Anthony, parents of Casey Anthony, knew they’d want to speak at some point, and figured there was no better place than the Dr. Phil show.
The 10th season of Dr. Phil McGraw’s daytime talk program will open up on September 12 featuring an exclusive interview with George and Cindy Anthony. The New York Times reported that McGraw’s show put out a press release on Tuesday promoting the interview. The release read: “America Watched the Trial,” as a headline; and “Now, Dr. Phil Asks the Questions Everyone Wants to Know.”
According to CBS News, the release said that the Anthonys would not be compensated for the interview, and they requested that a charitable donation be made to Caylee’s Fund, the non-profit organization they formed to honor their late granddaughter.
McGraw said in a statement, according to the Orlando Sentinel, “Cindy and George have suffered a horrific loss with the untimely death of their granddaughter, Caylee, I looked them straight in the eye and asked some very tough questions. Throughout this interview, we explore every detail of their ordeal, and they answer every question I know is on our viewers’ minds. Nothing is off limits during this interview.”

Elsewhere, Casey Anthony's white Pontiac Sunbird was crushed on Thursday and sits in a Florida junkyard, according to an assistant for the Anthonys’ attorney.
CNN reports that on June 27, 2008, Anthony abandoned her Pontiac in Orlando, saying it had run out of gas, according to testimony. It later was towed to a wrecker yard, where it remained until July 15 of 2008, when Anthony’s parents got a letter from the yard to pick up the Pontiac.

It would be different if Dr Phil made a donation for the interview to an organization that helps children in Caylee’s name. Dr. Phil saying he did not pay them and just donated to their non-profit is just as annoying as when survey takers call you at home and say they are not telemarketers! This attempt of their trying to cover up the truth is pathetic and the bottom line is that George, Cindy, Dr. Phil and CBS are all profiting and making money from Caylee’s death. Hasn’t Caylee given enough already?
