The Tennessee Titans have acquired free agent quarterback Matt Hasselbeck, who took the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl in 2005. Hasselback heads a long list of free agent quarterbacks who may be changing teams-although some say the list is rather thin.
The Titans chose quarterback Jake Locker in the first round of the 2011 draft from the University of Washington Huskies, and they expect he will learn from the veteran Hasselback. According to Fox Sports Tennessee, Hasselbeck has signed a three-year deal.
The deal will allow the Titans to, as reported by Titan Insider, release Vince Young, which is expected to happen on Thursday.
According to Martin Shatzer of SB Nation, there are reasons that the Washington Redskins should consider signing Young. Young has youth combined with experience, and only two years ago he went to the Pro Bowl after going 8-2 as a starter in 2009. But he points out that Young has been benched many times for not getting along with his coaches.

Young would come as a relatively inexpensive starter for Washington, because former Philadelphia Eagle Donovan McNabb is expected to land in Minnesota. McNabb’s contract, details have reportedly been worked out, but according to NBC Sports, some stories are saying McNabb is hesitant to move because he was only Minnesota’s second choice.
The Vikings were said to be after former Miami Dolphins quarterback Tyler Thigpen first, who NBC Sports said just signed a three year deal with Buffalo.
McNabb may have an effect on his former team’s rumored trade of quarterback Kevin Kolb to Arizona. According to MyFoxPhilly.com, the Cardinals have also been evaluating quarterbacks Kyle Orton and Marc Bulger.
