The New Jersey Devils may have gotten the upper hand over the L.A Kings when it comes to Charlie Sheen.
The Devils reached out to Sheen on Twitter after the actor was not allowed to re-enter the Staples Center for game 4 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Sheen had gone to smoke a cigarette according to CBS News.
“We’ll treat you w/courtesy & common sense @CharlieSheen come to the game tomorrow we have great staff & a smoking balcony,” said the Devils in a tweet to Sheen Friday.
A picture even accompanied the tweet of the smoking balcony sign, two tickets and a cigar.
Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be played Saturday night at the Prudential Center at 8pm. The Devils extended the series and avoided a sweep from the Kings by winning game 4 in a 3-1 victory. Heading into Game 5 the Devils look to extend the series and save themselves from elimination.
“You know it’s going to happen again. So why not us?” said Devils coach Peter DeBoer to the LA Times.
