Tiger Woods' personal coach from 2004 to 2010 is ready to let readers in on some inside stories about the famous golfer. In his new book, "The Big Miss," golf expert Hank Haney promises to describe his six years of working with Woods.
Although exact details have yet to emerge, the book will outline their "tumultuous" relationship that led to six major championships. "Hank was one of the very few people allowed behind the curtain," reads an official press release. "He was with Tiger 110 days a year, spoke to him over 200 days a year, and stayed at his home up to 30 days a year, observing him in nearly every circumstance: at tournaments, on the practice range, over meals, with his wife, Elin, and relaxing with friends."

Woods, considered one of the most successful and famous golfers in history, has taken a hit in the public sphere over the last couple years. In late 2009 and early 2010, allegations about multiple extra-marital affairs made him the unwanted headline in many newspaper and magazine articles.
Haney's book will likely focus on his professional relationship with Woods; it's uncertain whether any salacious details will also be mentioned. The golfer and his coach first began their relationship in March 2004. From that point on, Haney eventually found out that Woods was "one of the most complicated individuals he'd ever met, let alone coached," according to his official website.
He also mentions that he was "wary of the emotional distractions that might diminish his game and put him further from his goals."
"The Big Miss" will be released March 27, 2012.
