Columnist Alan Steinberg and strategist Michael Murphy join host Brenda Blackmon on the public affairs show
NewJerseyNewsroom.com columnist Alan Steinberg will appear as a guest on the television show, "New Jersey Now" this Sunday, July 17, 2011 at 12:00 noon on WWOR-TV Ch. 9 to discuss the debate over the New Jersey budget in the State Senate and the attempted override of Governor Christie's line-item vetoes. Steinberg supports Governor Christie's positions on these issues.
Appearing with Steinberg will be Democratic strategist Michael Murphy.
The show is hosted by Brenda Blackmon.
Steinberg will bring to the show his experience as a Republican strategist and knowledge of New Jersey political issues. He served as Regional Administrator of Region 2 EPA during the administration of former President George W. Bush and as Executive Director of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission under former Governor Christie Whitman. He currently serves as a professor of political science at Monmouth University.
