A naked man led Colts Neck police officers on an early morning foot chase from a residential neighborhood to a golf course Thursday morning. A 6:52 a.m. 911 call reported that a nude Samuel Walls was running around on Deputy Minister Drive in the Township. When officers arrived, they spotted Walls and a chase ensued. He was apprehended shortly after by Detective Sergeant Joseph Whitehead and Officer Morgan Savage, the APP.com reported.

The 19-year-old Tinton Falls resident is charged with resisting arrest, trespassing and lewdness, and may face an additional charge of burglary later on. According to Detective Whitehead, an investigation later revealed that Walls might have burglarized a home on Deputy Minister Drive. Officers also discovered the suspect's 1995 black Dodge Dakota pickup truck parked on Route 537. The suspect was released from police custody on his own recognizance, NJ.com reported.

Last week, Steve Coleman, a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, said Port Authority police arrested a naked man found swimming in the waters near the main aviation fuel storage. The man was charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. The man, who identified himself as Greg Rodrguez, is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation at Jamaica Hospital, and police continue to investigate the incident, Reuters.com reported.
