dogs at the casino hotels--good deal!

I think Melinda K above needs to reread rules for having dogs in these casino's---they are ONLY allowed in dog-friendly rooms. You should make sure to tell them not to put you in a doggie room upon booking. Why stay away then? Dog people--just don't ruin it for the rest of us who treat our 3 1/2 lb Yorkie as our daughter (she's never ever been left alone) We get all shots, ongoing flea meds and heartworm meds, rabies, everything as we should. Our dog does not shed. We never ever leave her alone and often take a pet-sitter!! Many of the best hotels in the world accept pets--many charge a fee--some don't, but if anybody has a problem in the room caused by their dog---they should pay for it. The hotel should clean those rooms specifically and make sure there are not fleas or hairs. So both customer and hotel housekeeping should do what is right. You'd stay at a Four Seasons wouldn't you? They allow pets:-) And don't just have special dog rooms. They take CARE of everything elegantly:-) Gambling is down and casinos are having $$$ trouble in this economy--good for them to try to get more people with the special doggie rooms:-) ABOUT TIME:-) Now just stop smokers in the casinos--now that IS to me criminal.!! I don't want it on my clothes or hair or up my nose or in my lungs. I beg you to stop smoking IN the casino area. I know many who also do not go because of the smokers. But do you really think if smoking had to stop those smoker wouldn't still go gamble--I bet not---just make them go outside or to a designated space. Do the right thing. and thanks!
